Whether you are a beginner on Mobile Strike Cybernetics or a seasoned pro in the game, I have some little “tricks” you might have overlooked or forgotten that can help maximize your game.
I thought creating a little refresher course on some simple basic tricks for your base might be helpful to the new players who were never taught these tricks and maybe be a mind jogger for us old-timers who just forgot they were available.
For most of the following discussions, you will be using your original 550 Commander. So take them out, shake off the dust.
Look at your skills tree and check to make sure you have completed your novice commander skills tree to obtain these boosts. The bottom section of the skill tree has been removed by Mobile Strike in one recent update. Don’t be alarmed, you will not be needing the section missing.
Go to your development center, when you open the page you should be on the “rewards” section tab. Towards the bottom, you will see an area called “Support”. Make sure all of the boxes are completed in this section since it will be needed for a couple of tricks in this article.
When you are looking at the novice skill tree, most of the boost modules needed are located on the right side of the commander skill tree with your support boosts.
Knowing how to provide the max support is key in any situation.
Tip Number One
An important part of helping your alliance is providing command support to your fellow players. Whether your teammate is attacking a base, rallying a base or control point, or being attacked themselves providing command support is essential in maxing the base’s potential.
You can also use these boosts to help bases in your alliance grow by providing production, construction, and training boosts through command support.
Knowing how to provide the max support is the key that can sometimes make the difference in a mark in the win or loss column of your alliance members base statics by providing that extra % to help them win a battle or fend off an attack.
As I mentioned before make sure you have completed your novice skills for your 550 Commander.
Also to provide the maximum amount of command support you will need to complete the skill tree for your cyberian commander’s support module sections.
Then the final area to complete is the “support section” in “rewards” in your development center to obtain your max boost for support. Make sure all of the boxes say “active.”
Once you have completed all the leg work in your skill trees and development center, use this chart to pick your best commander for the desired boost.
The numbers in red will help you find the largest percentage boost for each item in commander support, type of support is listed to the left and commanders are listed across the top portion of the chart.
The normal boost numbers are what % you obtain if you do not change your commander to the appropriate one before giving command support.
When you are ready to support your alliance’s members you will find the area to apply the command support by clicking on the base you would like to support and then you will find “command support” button.
Click this button and a list of available supports will appear, then just click desired boosts to apply.
You will need to use a support kit which can be found in packs in the gold store or purchased with loyalty points. You can only provide 1 support of each boost type at a time to a player. The timer will show on boost when applied and time varies among boost types.
When boosting for an attack, base defense, or the control point notice that you will use both the Cyberian and 550 Commander to obtain the max support available.
You DO NOT have to display the avatars as your profile image to get the boosts from your avatars, they are lifetime boosts.
Tip Number Two
We all love the cute avatar collections to express our personality or mood in the game. While this is wonderful, the avatars have a much bigger role in your base.
First, let’s find your avatars.
- On your base click “power” and then you will be on your base “profile” page.
- Click on the image above “alliance” and “change personal image file” page will come up. This area is where all your avatars are hiding.
- Click “select” at the bottom to change your display avatar and press “select” to continue then you can add any accommodations or decorations you have earned to your avatar.
- When you’re happy with the image click “select” again. Your new image will now be displayed on your base and in chat when you send a message.
If you press the “collections” at the bottom of this area and it will bring up all the avatar collections. On the right side, you will see two numbers, the first is how many of the collections you have acquired and the second is the total number of avatars in the collection. This number will turn green when you have completed a collection. Press the > button on the right side of those numbers and you can see the pictures of the avatars you have and greyed out pictures of the ones you need.
Now You will finally find the important reason I brought you here, the bonus stats your base receives when the collection is COMPLETE are listed here.
These will help you greatly in many areas of your base. Check here frequently to make sure you do not miss any new avatar releases. Avatars can be found in sales packs in the gold store, special events, and base challenges.
You DO NOT have to display the avatars as your profile image to get the boosts from the avatar collection, but you do have to obtain the complete collection.
Avatar boosts are lifetime boosts, once you complete the entire collection you will always have the benefit applied to your base.
Tip Number Three
Enhancing your gear in the combat lab helps boost your gear’s effectiveness and stats.
You can decrease the number of files required to enhance your gear by switching to your 550 original Commander with “enhancement efficiency boost” modules completed in your novice skill tree before beginning gear enhancements. There are 2 modules, 10% and 15% in the novice skill tree. There is also a boost module in the 550 commander skill tree that has a “disassemble and break efficiency” which will increase the number of key components and spare parts you receive when you complete these actions while 550 Commander is active.
Tip Number Four
Serums are back in cybernetics and play a very important role in your base, so getting every available boost when manufacturing serums are important. Use your original 550 Commander with the novice skill tree “combat serum booster” modules completed and get a small extra percentage of attack, defense, and health in your serum with a maximum of an additional 400% boost.
Tip Number Five
Death row and prison boosts are one of the small boosts often overlooked when searching for an additional boost in your attack, defense, and deployment speed. Your prison attack boost can be as high as 18,000% with 13 original 550 commanders in your prison. You can also obtain prison boosts with a mixture of commander levels in your prison but the 550 commanders will give you the best boost numbers overall.
Your death row boost gives your base cybernetic boosts when you eliminate a commander.
- Cybernetic Attack Boost 100%
- Cybernetic Health Boost 50%
- Cybernetic Defense Boost 100%
- Deployment Speed Boost 50%
If you eliminate a prisoner with your original 550 Commander with the novice skill tree module for “death row boost” completed, your death row boost will be extended to 12 days.
Remember if you kill a commander, or a commander takes a cyanide pill to leave your prison, your prison boost time will reset.
If you choose to use the Ultimate elimination on a prisoner with the original 550 Commander with the “ultimate elimination boost” completed in the novice skill tree, you can extend the time before the commander can be resuscitated up to a maximum of 12 hours longer than the original wait time.
*I’m including a little bonus tip, that is a long-standing unacknowledged “trick” that has never been “officially” confirmed, so go and test it for yourself then leave your feedback here on what you experience.
One More Bonus Tip
“Using Lucky Neo Marine gear while in the shooting range or opening lucky crates will give you a better quality of gifts and rewards.”
It is called lucky gear after all.
