Next up in our Commander Guides we have Commander Three. Over the course of the few years that the Mech Dimension has existed our Commanders have evolved a lot. As time passes, there have been more and more intricacies with each Commander that has allowed them to become more and more specialized based on your playstyle.

While we have previously done Commander Guides that combined facets of each Commander based on their level in order to make things more simple we will be releasing Commander Guides for each of our Commanders. A One-stop shop for all the information you need about Commander One, Two, Three, or Four.

Commander Three

Commander Three was the third Commander we saw released in the Mech Dimension. This Commander has typically been focused on Control Point and Defense and we will see more about what Commander three offers as we dive into skills and more.

Commander Three Skills

You are going to find a range of skills with Commander Three. We are not going to discuss Mastery or Steadfast here as they will have their own sections. Here we are going to focus on Novice Skills, these are stats or skills that are only active when that Commander is active.

Commander Three Skills and Stats

These are the Skills you will find in your Novice Skills Tree:

  • Base Defender Stats- These stats really help set this Commander apart from our other Commanders.
  • General Combat Stats- You will see some Troop Attack and Troop Defense with this Commander.
  • Control Point Stats- These stats are specific to Control Point and will include things such as Control Point Health and Attack
  • Debuffs-  This Commander also has some debuffs such as Accuracy and Combat Shielding.
  • Rally TIme Reduction- This stat will help decrease the amount of time you need to wait before sending your Rally.
  • Deployment Stats- This includes stats such as Deployment Size, Rally Capacity, and Attack Deployment Speed.  Commander Three also gives an extra deployment.
  • Gathering Stats– If you like to Gather this is the Commander you will find those stats on to increase attack and HP on tiles.
  • Hospital Capacity- This skill is exclusive to Commander Three and is a great way to increase the number of beds you have available for troops in your Hospital.

Skilling Commander Three

We have entire guides on skilling and using presets so for today we will not focus too deeply on this section. However, we will give a quick overview on how to Skill your Commander Three here.

Setting your Commander Skills up for Combat

When you look at your Commander Skill Tree it is going to be important to note what level you are at, this will determine where you start skilling. When we skill we want to start on the lowest part of the tree possible, this will give the higher stats. Here are our recommendations on how to skill.

  1. Determine what the lowest part of the tree is unlocked for you, start skilling here.
  2. Fill in just enough points to move to the bottom of that section and then fill the boxes in based on your priorities for the style of player you are.
  3. Once the lowest section of the Commander Skill tree is filled in with the stats you need to move on to the higher portions of the tree and repeat this process until you run out of points.

For more information check out this video that was originally in our Skills article.

Commander Three Uses

Commander Three has a few potential uses and is really very versatile:

  1. Defense- with Base Defender Stats Commander Three is an excellent option for defense.
  2. Control Point- This Commander having Control Point specific stats puts it in the running for a great Commander to use at Control Point, however, with type stats taking a huge front seat when it comes to combat be sure to compare it to higher levels of Commander One before taking a running leap at Control Point
  3. Gathering- WIth some stats that help with defending tiles when gathering this is a good Commander to potentially send out, however, be cautious, the last thing you want is to be capped on tile.

Commander Three Costs

As always, my cautions that come with leveling your Commander are to be aware of potential power increases if you are trapping. We are going to take a closer look at the costs associated with Commander Three levels. This Commander currently has the highest level of 300. In order to level this Commander, you will need Commander XP and Commander Tokens. While level 350 has not yet been released with Commander One and Two going to level 350 we can expect to see Commander Three do the same soon.

Early Commander Costs

Commander Three early costs continue to vary slightly from Commander One and Two where later costs remain more in-sync.

Commander 3 Costs

Later Commander Costs

With later costs, we have only tracked the Medals cost for our Commanders. These costs have repeated every 50 levels, therefore, we have included the chart for levels 101-150, however, this chart will also be valid for every 50 levels following that.

Commander Three Steadfast Skills

Next up we have Commander Three Steadfast Skills. Steadfast Skills for those of you who are new to steadfast skills are skills that apply even when you do not have that Commander equipped. This means that if you have Commander One equipped you will still reap the benefits of the steadfast skills you have on Commander Three. Therefore, be sure you have those skills done correctly even when you switch to a new Commander.

Commander Three Steadfast Skills Benefits

There are two stats that are intended for Rebel Target hunting in this steadfast tree. Those are Commander Attack and Commander Energy Increase. Other Stats for Commander Three are combat-focused with a big focus on Defense and Control Point including:

  1. Base Defender Stats
  2. Control Point Stats
  3. General Troop Stats
  4. Debuffs
  5. Deployment Size Stats

Commander III Mastery

Commander III Mastery has arrived in the Mech Dimension. There are a few important things we want to keep in mind when we are looking at Mastery:

  1. Points for Commander III Mastery Skills can be purchased from the Gold Store.
  2. While Mastery does not have a Commander level per se there is a Commander level requirement on the Skill Nodes. This means that you must meet the prerequisite Commander level before you are able to spend your skill points. We saw this with Commander I and II as well. The players this impacts the most are traps who have purposely kept Commander levels low in order to avoid large power gains. It is now necessary for traps to weigh whether or not the power gain is worth the stat gain when looking at leveling up to skill Commander Mastery.
  3. Mastery Stats are applied even when that Commander is not active.

Commander III Mastery Stats

When we think of Commander III we are used to seeing stats for our Control Point players and defenders. However, there are some stats within the Commander III Mastery tree that will be beneficial to our attackers. The current max stats we are going to get from Commander III Mastery are:

  • 254,000% Type Attack
  • 314,000% Type Defense
  • 170,000% Type Health
  • 800% Commander Attack
  • 1,200% Commander Attack vs Raid Boss
  • 380,000% Base Defending Attack
  • 470,000% Base Defending Defense
  • 255,000% Base Defending Health
  • 380,000% Control Point Defending Troop Attack
  • 380,000% Control Point Rally Troop Attack
  • 209,000% Troop Defense
  • 114,000% Troop Health
  • 136,000% Combat Shielding
  • 381,000% Trap Attack
  • 471,000% Trap Defense
  • 255,000% Trap Health
  • 381,000% Artillery Attack
  • 471,000% Artillery Defense
  • 255,000% Artillery Health

Commander Three Challenges

As always be sure to take advantage of Commander Three Challenges. These include Challenges for gaining Commander Three XP and Using Commander ThreeTokens and will earn you Black Market tokens that allow you to buy goodies in the Weekly Black Market so you can continue progressing forward.
