We are diving into more Commander Guides with our newest guide on Commander Two. Over the course of the few years that the Mech Dimension has existed our Commanders have evolved a lot. As time passes, there have been more and more intricacies with each Commander that has allowed them to become more and more specialized based on your playstyle. While we have previously done Commander Guides that combined facets of each Commander based on their level in order to make things more simple we will be releasing Commander Guides for each of our Commanders. A One-stop shop for all the information you need about Commander One, Two, Three, or Four.
Commander Two
Commander Two was the second Commander we saw released in the Mech Dimension. This Commander has typically been an attack focused Commander and we will get more into his skills and more as we discuss Commander Two in the Mech Dimension.
Mech War Commander II Level 400
Commander II now goes to level 400. This Commander continues to rise to new levels with new stats. With this increase, your Commander will require Commander II Tokens (Lv 351-400) to increase the level. Currently, it is believed that new Commander II level costs will mimic that of earlier updates.
Commander II Level 400 Stats
Commander II has historically been an attack-focused Commander, and with this update, nothing changes. The stats we see added on are mostly attack-specific stats. There are some general troop stats and debuffs.
While some of these stats are useful to other players, there are many more stats in other Commanders that will benefit both Control Point and Defense players.
The stat increases seen with a level 400 Commander II are as follows:
- 769,600% Rally Attack
- 1,422,800% Base Assault Attack
- 1,154,600% Base Assault Defense
- 772,400% Base Assault Health
- 513,200% Troop Attack
- 505,800% Enemy Troop Defense Debuff
- 274,600% Enemy Troop Health Debuff
Skilling New Commander II Levels
As you begin to skill your new Commander II levels, remember that the stats at the bottom are going to be the highest. When you skill your new Commander your levels will start at the bottom.
Fill in those boxes, and then work your way up to the top of the tree. As you work your way up, the numbers will get smaller. This is why you want to start at the bottom.
If you have a limited number of skill points, you want to spend them on the nodes that will have the most impact for your playstyle.
Commander TwoSkills
You are going to find a range of skills with Commander Two. We are not going to discuss Mastery or Steadfast here as they will have their own sections. Here we are going to focus on Novice Skills, these are stats or skills that are only active when that Commander is active.
Commander Two Skills and Stats
These are the Skills you will find in your Novice Skills Tree:
- Base Assault Stats- These stats really help set this Commander apart from our other Commanders.
- Type Stats- The type stats given by this Commander are limited to Assault stats that give both type attack and Armor Piercing stats.
- Debuffs- When it comes to Debuffs this Commander is strong when you are looking at Accuracy stats.
- Deployment Stats- This includes stats such as Deployment Size, Rally Capacity, and Attack Deployment Speed.
- Poison- This skill is special to Commander Two and reduces the number of troops going to the Hospital when attacking your opponents.
Skilling Commander Two
We have entire guides on skilling and using presets so for today we will not focus too deeply on this section. However, we will give a quick overview on how to Skill your Commander Two here.
Setting your Commander Skills up for Combat
When you look at your Commander Skill Tree it is going to be important to note what level you are at, this will determine where you start skilling. When we skill we want to start on the lowest part of the tree possible, this will give the higher stats. Here are our recommendations on how to skill.
- Determine what the lowest part of the tree is unlocked for you, start skilling here.
- Fill in just enough points to move to the bottom of that section and then fill the boxes in based on your priorities for the style of player you are.
- Once the lowest section of the Commander Skill tree is filled in with the stats you need to move on to the higher portions of the tree and repeat this process until you run out of points.

Commander Two Uses
Commander Two is an attack Commander. You will want to use this Commander when attacking other Bases. However, always keep an eye on how this Commander is performing versus Commander One. Commander One with Type Stats and Deployments Stats can at times hit harder than Commander Two.
Commander Two Costs
As always, my cautions that come with leveling your Commander is to be aware of potential power increases if you are trapping. We are going to take a closer look at the costs associated with Commander Two levels. This Commander currently has the highest level of 300. In order to level this Commander, you will need Commander XP and Commander Tokens.
Commander Tokens
Early Commander Costs
Commander Two early costs vary from Commander One whereas later on Commander Costs have been more in sync.
Later Commander Costs
With later costs, we have only tracked the token cost for our Commanders. These costs have repeated every 50 levels, therefore, we have included the chart for levels 101-150, however, this chart will also be valid for every 50 levels following that.
Commander Two Steadfast Skills
Next up we have Commander TwoSteadfast Skills. Steadfast Skills for those of you who are new to steadfast skills are skills that apply even when you do not have that Commander equipped. This means that if you have Commander three equipped you will still reap the benefits of the steadfast skills you have on Commander Two. This means that you want to be sure you have those skills done correctly even when you switch to a new Commander.
Commander Two Steadfast Skills Benefits
There are two stats that are intended for Rebel Target hunting in this steadfast tree. Those are Commander Attack and Commander Energy Increase. Other Stats for Commander Two are combat-focused with a big focus on Attack including:
- Base Assault Stats
- Type Skills
- General Troop Stats
- Debuffs
- Deployment Size Stats
Commander II Mastery
Commander II Mastery has arrived in the Mech Dimension. There are a few important things we want to keep in mind when we are looking at Mastery:
- Points for Commander II Mastery Skills can be purchased from the Gold Store.
- While Mastery does not have a Commander level per se there is a Commander level requirement on the Skill Nodes. This means that you must meet the prerequisite Commander level before you are able to spend your skill points. We saw this with Commander I as well. The players this impacts the most are traps who have purposely kept Commander levels low in order to avoid large power gains. It is now necessary for traps to weigh whether or not the power gain is worth the stat gain when looking at leveling up to skill Commander II Mastery.
Commander II Mastery Stats
With Commander II traditionally being a Commander that is geared towards stats for attackers it is easy to brush this release off as a release that is not as important for Defenders or Control Point Players. However, remember that the stats you see here apply even when that Commander is not active and some of the stats we see in Commander II Mastery will be relevant to other types of players. Stats you will find here include:
- Trap Defense, Attack, and Health
- Artillery Defense, Attack, and Health
- Tactical Defense, Attack, and Health
- Infantry Defense, Attack, and Health
- Armored Vehicle Defense, Attack, and Health
- Commander Attack
- Commander Attack vs Raid Boss
- Base Assault Defense, Health, and Attack
- Accuracy
- Armor Piercing
- Troop Defense, Attack, and Health
Commander Two Challenges
As always be sure to take advantage of Commander Two Challenges. These include Challenges for gaining Commander Two XP and Using Commander Two Tokens and will earn you Black Market tokens that allow you to buy goodies in the Weekly Black Market so you can continue progressing forward.
