In our last article for how to Build your Stats in the Mech Dimension, we spent a lot of time talking about how stats work as a trap and lead. We looked closely at health, defense, and attack and why all three of these stats are so necessary for the different communities. This week we want to take some time to really look at where to find the stats you will need as an attacker.
A Quick Recap
Last week we took a look at stats for attackers and how to prioritize those stats and why each of those individual stats are important. We took a look at testing and how to test. Testing is just as important for attackers as it is for traps. By learning what you can hit and how different stats impact different players you are able to better set up your account for success when it comes to attacking in the Mech Dimension and can go from hitting like a wet noodle to blowing your opponents away.
We have previously defined the stats that are available in-game, however, just for reference, we will include our Stat dictionary here again.
Prioritizing your stats as an Attacker in the Mech Dimension
When it comes down to it, how do we prioritize our stats as an Attacker in the Mech Dimension? Last week we went more into depth on this however, we will continue our quick recap here. Within each of our stats Attack, Health, Defense, Debuffs we have subcategories and we talked about what order to not only prioritize the main categories but the subcategories. For more detail be sure you read the last article. However, our quick list was:
- Attack
- Base Assault Attack
- Type Attack
- Rally Attack
- March Size
- Troop Attack
- Health
- Base Assault Health
- Type Health
- We included Base Assault Defense here just for ease.
- Troop Health
- Debuffs- When it comes to Debuffs we had a conversation around what each Debuff does and the different ways you can prioritize. Make sure you take the chance to go back and read the details.
Knowing what Stats traps are Prioritizing
It is important as an attacker to know how your traps are building. Your smart traps started putting less of an emphasis on Troop Attack, Health, and Defense months ago. They did this in recognition of the fact that the debuffs were continually stacking and most traps were completely debuffed in these areas already.
This led to traps prioritizing:
- Base Defender Health
- Base Defender Defense
- Base Defender Attack
- Type Stats such as Type Health, Defense and Attack
However, one thing that is important to note is that there are still traps that have not adopted this setup and are relying on stats such as Troop Attack, Health, and Defense. Many of these traps will be the ones building high-level villas for the defense stats. The other benefit to this of course is they will not have as many beds to fill in their hospitals when you are hitting them which will give you more kills. It is important to know that for traps Attack and Health are the stats that they should be relying on the most making those health debuffs something that will hit a player not prioritizing stats well hard. If you are picking between debuffs because of skill point availability or Research mat availability Health will be a good one.
8 MSHQ Tips on Where to Find Stats as an Attacker
We are going to look at the various places you can find stats as an Attacker and discuss the pros and cons of those areas.
MSHQ Tip One: Research
Research is actually one of our top recommendations on where to find stats as any type of player. Research has a ton of stats that are helpful for various types of players. The great thing about research is it is a stat that is always with you. It’s not dependent on being activated or actually in place, with the only exception being battle mark research that requires that your target be battlemarked or research such as troop attack with a Commander. The con to research for attackers, of course, is the cost. However, the benefits are very valuable.
MSHQ Tip Two: The Development Center
The Development Center is another place to find some great stats. These can boost attack, health, debuffs, battle mark stats, and more. In addition, frequently we will see the items we need to complete these nodes in events.
MSHQ Tip Three: Buildings
When we talk about buildings for attackers we can look at main buildings. We know that these buildings give different stats that are helpful including the Mech Break and increases to March size. However, every attacker knows that higher building levels are just something to work towards. The buildings we really want to look at are your “Special Buildings.”
When we are talking about Buildings we are talking about your Master Supply Depot and your Assault Vehicle Hanger. Your Master Supply Depot is going to provide Base Assault Attack and a plethora of other stats. Your Assault Vehicle Hangar will provide some nice Base Assault stats for Attack, Defense, and Health as well as other benefits that help your Assault Vehicles.
MSHQ Tips Four: Assault Vehicle and Mechs (oh my)
Assault Vehicles for Attackers are able to be sent in marches. At this time depending on the level of your building you can send up to 2 Assault Vehicles. These Assault Vehicles are going to help make your attack stronger and choosing the correct ones will give you even more power.
Mechs also have the ability to provide extra stats. Leveling your mechs is going to help you as you attack different players and your attack will be stronger when you use the right mech. Our Mechs have continued to evolve as now we have the Reborn, Inferno, Hydro, and Terra.
With the Synergy boosts for our Inferno mechs beyond 50, we saw leads hitting harder than they ever have before. So leveling those mechs up and getting the bonuses is essential for our attackers.
MSHQ Tips Five: Gear and Set Bonuses
Gear is another great place to get stats this also takes us back to research a little with getting additional stats on our gear from our Manufacturing Tree. We can also get additional stats on our gear using Enchantments and Set Gear Leveling. In addition, the Nuclear Forge gives us set bonuses for full sets of gear that apply even when we are not wearing the gear. All of these are great gear-related places to get stats.
MSHQ Tips Six: Do not forget your Commander
Your Commander is going to give you stats as well. For leads, there is not a concern when it comes to power and so leveling up your Commanders is going to help get the extra edge on stats that you need. Commander 2 is a favorite for most leads however, keep in mind there are times when Commander 1 might outperform Commander 2 based on leveling and the skills available.
MSHQ Tips Seven: Steadfast Skills
Your Commander will also give you stats through Steadfast Skills. These stats apply whether or not that Commander is equipped. Recently Steadfast Skills have been leveled up and ensuring that you are updating your presets with new skilling is essential to ensure you are getting the best stats. Remember that even though you do not have to have that commander equipped for the stats to apply you do need to make sure that your commander is in the right skills preset before you switch coms.
MSHQ Tips Eight: Mods, Insignias, VIP, Serums
Mods, Insignias, and VIP are all other great places you can get stats for your account. Stats from these places can feel small but they all add up and can keep you burning your State to the ground. For more information on all of these features be sure to check out, Mech Quick Attack Guide.
