This article touches on the various main events in the Mech Dimension. Each offers a unique recipe for victory even though they have a lot in common.
The single most important factor for winning an event is your team. Regardless of how strong one individual is or how much they have spent on their base, even they can not win alone. Not everyone has the desire to pay to compete at that level. Just remember even your smaller members can make a difference and improve the strength of the alliance.
What can you do for your team if you haven’t maintained an up-to-date status on your base? A proficient scout who can keep the alliance stocked with targets is worth their weight in gold and quickly become the rally lead’s favorite. There is nothing more frustration during a Kill Event than struggling to find targets.
When targets are plentiful and rallies are flying there is no time to waste. Bases that are filling need to ensure that their Mechs are healthy and they are sending the correct deployment requested by the rally lead. Please see my article on how to read a base without a scout.
I can not stress this point enough. Speed, speed, speed. Because when it comes to an event like Nexus where every second counts you want yourself and your team to run as smoothly as possible. Here again, we find an area where the smaller members can be more helpful than they know.
At Nexus when defending multiple rallies maintaining a fully reinforced control point is a must. Deployments are so slow in the war zone. The more hands-on deck to speed up reinforcements the better.
Use the free time outside of events to practice and prepare for the next event. Think back to the previous event on where you can improve as an individual and as a team. Remember a team is only as strong as their weakest link and it’s up to the team to pick each other up and give support wherever it is needed.
As a rally leader, your team must understand your expectations. As a filler, it is of the utmost importance that you follow the directions of the rally lead. And for the players who aren’t involved in the rally, it is up to them to watch for incoming reinforcements. Commander or gear changes. Even the possibility of a counter-rally against your team would require you to reinforce your teammate. Reinforcements can make a big difference to your teammate’s end result.
The common theme here is communication. When everyone knows what’s going on and what’s expected things just operate that much better. Practice makes perfect but communication is paramount.
The Hurricane event is the newest event to land. Hurricane is held in the special state 1691. The event itself consists of the Control Point along with four Bunkers. These Bunkers will offer boosts to aid in the Control Point battle. On this surface this seems very similar to the Bunker Battles event, however, the “Hurricane” will be resetting the Control Point every 30 minutes.
To complete this Hurricane challenge you will need to collect “Hurricane Tokens” These can be obtained by competing in any or all of these three rotating events.
- Hospitalise and kill enemy troops and traps in the Cyclone State.
- Kill troops within the Bunkers.
- Damage or kill Rebel targets.
Cyclone Event State #1691
The Alliance Fusion Event is on a regular rotation within Mobile Strike. This is an instate event that consists of collecting Divine Duality Tokens
- Extreme Train Challenge
The NightThrill event is not an SvS event. All battles and points will be gained in your home state.
Throughout the NightThrill, you can collect Gold NighThrill Tokens for prizes in hourly rotating events!
- Scarlets Slaughter
- Kill and hospitalize enemy Troops
- Ranger’s Hunt
- Kill Rebel Targets
Lastly, keep an eye out for Flash Bang! These consist of very short Flash Events that will happen throughout the NightThrill Meta and last for just 15 minutes each on rotation out of every hour.
- Train Troops
- Scout Enemy Bases
- Alliance Helps
- Complete Missions
- Reinforce Allies
- Trade Resources
Soldiers Last Stand
This event is always run on Saturday event when in rotation. Fight to the death against ALL opposing states.
This event includes:
- Holding bunkers and opposing state Control Points,
- kill and hospitalizing opposing state troops and traps.
- Collecting Kill Tokens.
- Sometimes we see them include a training and rebel challenge as a part of this too.
Bunker Battles is an event where there are randomly placed bunkers that act as mini control points along with the forest location Bunkers and the main Control Point in the special state 1586. The team that holds the main Control Point for the longest duration will reign victorious. Holding the smaller bunkers will add strength to the team allowing them to have greater success in the battle for the Control Point. This event is quite popular with many looking forward to seeing this on the calendar!
Bunker Battles Event State #1586
The SvS Mayhem event has all the features of a standard kill event where it differs however the top 3 players who score the most points receive one of the following titles all offering Troop Attack, Defense, and health.
- Cold-Blooded Killer
- Merciless Killer
- Ruthless Tyrant
Days of War
The Days of War is a 4-day event. This is a rotation of Cyborgs and Kill Events covering the 4-day duration. There are three titles available for the top 3 scores in the Cyborg event.
Cyborgs appear on your map as an intruder base ranging from Lv 1 to Lv 6. With the Lv 6 having the greatest number of defending troops. Artillery is what you will want to attack with whether a solo or a rally. The most unique feature in this event is players can remain shielded while attacking the Cyborgs.
The Kill event portion of Days of War is your standard State Versus State kill challenge with points awarded for holding an opposing state control point and opposing state kill.
This is essentially a giant rebel target. The player who inflicts the most damage throughout the event wins with the top 3 players getting a title. These titles usually stay in place until the next Raid Boss or for one month. Whichever comes first.
It would be wise to save your commander energy for this event. Also if possible delay upgrading your commander level until this event comes around because you gain a full energy bar each time you level up your commander.
SvS Kill FFA
This event is all about the kills. The Control point is definitely in play and active control points do yield a lot of kills however, the greatest number of points will be found by attacking and zeroing opposing state players. This is not the time to test your capabilities. It’s important to test the strength of your base whether attacking or defending in the week leading up to this event so as not to give away points. As you will find many are highly organized and efficient hunters. One of my favorite hunting techniques is to search for players who opt to exchange hits rather than fight. You have to be very fast as the window of opportunity to attack is extremely small especially with weary players who are typically shielded 24/7.
Please see my Attack guide here!
The Nexus event is the pinnacle of competition among all events within Mobile Strike for the Mech dimension. To win this event your team must hold the Control Point for the longest time. The Control Point must be rallied as solo attacks are banned from the event.
Nexus Event State #1600
Strategically timing your rallies to hit behind opposing teams’ rallies is just as crucial as having a strong rally lead with strong filling support. The time held is cumulative and every second counts so don’t be afraid to give it a go and get amongst it. This event is the measuring post for the strongest team, not necessarily the strongest rally lead, although there have been instances where one rally lead could not be knocked out in the past.
Every event has its own identity and the system of scoring changes slightly depending on which event you are competing in. This is a war game so first and foremost in all events except the Raid Boss troop kills will be factored into scoring. Whether these kills occur in a base, Bunker, or the Control Point, a kill is a kill. Just be sure to refer to your challenges tab and double-check the blog for any event-specific details or updates.
The Domination event is much like a traditional SvS event however, Bunkers and a Bunker-specific challenge are included. Kill tokens may also be obtained through the completion of the Rebel Kill challenge. So even if your base is not ready for war you can still contribute to your team and your state by participating.
Now that we’ve discussed these events in depth I hope you walk away with a better understanding of the minutia found in our weekly agendas as well as confidence in the ability of yourself and your team to become more competitive on the battlefield.
