We have been taking a deep dive into economics in the Mech Dimension. How do you save time, money, and resources when you are building up? We are looking at tons of tips to save when it comes to this essential function. We are going to continue to explore and this week is going to be all about Rebel Targets. However, before we dive in let’s take a look at what we have already discussed.
A Quick Recap
I know that not all of you will take the time to go back and read so I am going to give you a quick recap. When we are talking about Economy what do we mean by that? For simplicity, we are going to include any function that does not include PvP combat. This means that yes, we will even be talking about Rebel Target hunting in this guide. Here are the functions that we will address:
- Rebel Target Hunting
So how do you save time, money, and get more from your city when you are working on building up your city? In Part 1, we covered various places you can get boosts for construction and research and in Part 2 we covered training, healing, and troop cap. You are able to find various boosts for all these functions in different places including:
- Nuclear Forge
- Development Center
- Commander Skills
- Mech Skills
We also briefly addressed Lifetime boosts (part 1) in order to discuss the fact that since purchasing these boosts is often time-limited we were not going to discuss these in-depth. This week we are moving onto part three and discussing everything Rebel Targets. However, before we dive in if you need more details make sure you take the chance to go back and read part one and two.
Rebel Target Hunting
Rebel Target Hunting is the final Economy Function we are going to cover. As you head out to slay the Rebel Targets whether for an event or some other reason make sure you are getting the most out of the stats that are available to you.
Rebel Target Stats to be on the lookout for
There are a ton of Rebel Target stats we need to be on the lookout for when we go Rebel Target hunting and each has its own definition. We are going to take a closer look at these stats in this section to help you better understand what is available for you. While some of these stats are going to be limited in where you can find them it is still worth knowing what they do.
|Stat||What does it do?|
|Commander Attack||This stat makes your attack against Rebel Target s stronger.|
|Commander Energy Increase||This allows you to have more Commander Energy available to you at once when hunting Rebel Target s.|
|Rebel Target Attack Deployment Speed||This stat helps your Commander Deployment faster as it runs to destroy the Rebel Targets in your State.|
|Energy Recovery||This stat helps your Commander recover energy faster after you have used your energy and your energy bar is no longer full.|
|Commander Critical Hit||This increases your chance of dealing a critical hit on the Rebel Target you are attacking.|
|Energy Cost Reduction||This Reduces your Energy Cost when you are Rebel Target hunting.|
|Commander Attack Streak||This is a streak that builds when hitting the same Rebel Target and gives you stronger attack bonuses against the Rebel Target as the streak level is raised higher.|
Finding the Stats
Now that we now what stats to be on the lookout for when it comes to Rebel Targets we move on to the next section. Where can we find those stats? We are going to cover the various places you can find different Rebel Target stats for your hunting below.
The newest set of Gear available in the Mech Dimension for Rebel Target Hunting is the Battle Tested Set Gear. Originally many questioned whether this gear was worth the effort because it did not include stats for Energy Recovery. However, these stats were later added in. Currently, this is the top gear set for Rebel Target Hunting.
However, if you do not yet have this gear do not despair. The older set of Rebel Target hunting gear is still a viable choice. Check out the previous information on this set below.
One Generation Older Gear
Our previous Rebel Target gear can still get some great use while we work to upgrade to Battle Tested. The Rebel Destroyer Set is a valid option in the case that you do not have Battle Tested Gear. However, this set is not as simple as it looks. There are three different ways you are able to wear this gear to optimize different features. Time for a Fashion Show!
Fashion Show One
Your first fashion show is all about Energy Regeneration and Maximum Energy Capacity. If you are looking to make sure that your Commander is regenerating the most Energy at the fastest rate be sure to wear full Rebel Destroyer.
Fashion Show Two
Fashion number two is all about speed. Do you want your Commanders Deployment to be faster than a speeding bullet (okay, it will not be that fast but it will be faster than normal)? If you are looking for a little more speed when Rebel Target hunting be sure to swap out your Rebel Destroyer accessories for three Hammerhead Freeze Grenade. These accessories have some Commander Rebel Target Deployment Speed Bonus that will turn your Commander into Speedy Gonzales.
Next up we are going to take a closer look at what Mods to wear when Rebel Target hunting. When we are looking at our normal Mods we have a Rebel Target Attack Mod this Mod gives 25% Commander Attack Bonus. There is also a special Mod for Rebel Target hunting that will increase your Commander Critical hit and Deployment Speed. However, if you do not have these Mods you can always toss in a Mimic Mod and double up on Rebel Target Attack Mods.
**Special Note: this is not accounting for people who like to Mod Rebel Target gear for defense
Next up we are going to look at the bonuses available for Rebel Target Hunting in Nuclear Forge. There are a plethora of stats here where you are able to get a little extra help with Rebel Target hunting.
|Gear Set||Nuclear Forge Bonus|
|Hunter’s Gear Set||Commander Rebel Target Deployment Speed Bonus +20%
Maximum Energy Limit +1,500%
|Saboteur’s Gear Set||Commander Attack Bonus +32%|
|Mech War Rebel Slayers Set||Commander Attack Bonus +100%|
|Rebel Demolisher Gear Set||Commander Attack Bonus +125%|
|Rebel Destroyer Gear Set||Commander Attack Bonus +300%|
When it comes to our Commanders there are various boosts we can receive in various ways. While in the past we had a Rebel Target Skills tree this is no longer the case. If you are looking for Rebel Target Skills in your Commander the only place you will find these is with the Commander Attack provided by Commander One at the very beginning of the tree. However, there are are some other ways our Commanders receive boosts when it comes to Rebel Target Hunting.
Steadfast Skills are skills that apply even when that Commander is not equipped. Each of our Commanders has two Rebel Target Stats available in their Steadfast Skill Trees. If you are planning to go Rebel Target hunting you can equip that tree on your Commanders and benefit from some extra Commander Attack and Commander Energy Increase.
Commander Energy Carryover
This is a special boost that falls under your Permanent boosts and these are not as available as they were in the past. What this allows you to do is to exceed your Energy Capacity. This means that even if your energy capacity is 200K you can have an unlimited amount and not lose it. This was most beneficial when leveling Commanders up and getting the Energy bar filled multiple times.
There are boosts available for Rebel Target Hunting! You can get some additional Rebel Target Attack using these boosts.
Research is actually where you will find the majority of your Rebel Target Stats. While there are some Rebel Target stats scattered in various trees such as Max Energy and Energy Recovery in your Seeker’s Rewards Research tree there is one tree that you will really want to focus on for Rebel Target s. The Commander Tree is where you are going to find the most Rebel Target Hunting Stats and where you should focus in first when looking for Rebel Target Stats. In addition, you need to complete this research to be able to hit higher levels of Rebel Targets anyways!
Time to Start Hunting
Now that we know where to find our boosts it is time to start hunting. Rebel Target hunting is the main source of PVE in Mobile Strike and one that if we do it in conjunction with events can be very valuable to help build our city. We have some great MSHQ Tips for you when it comes to Rebel Target hunting.
MSHQ Tip One: Make sure you are letting your Commander Energy build-up!
When you are shielded or if you feel safe unshielded in Rebel Target gear, make sure that you are switching to different Commanders to give each time to let their Energy bar to build up. Spending loyalty to get Energy can quickly become very expensive so it is better to do so in organic ways if possible. Touch base again with the set up that will help you regenerate energy the quickest in our Fashion show above.
MSHQ Tip Two: Do your Rebel Target Hunting in Conjunction with events
Save your energy for events. Energy can run out really quickly and you want to make sure you are getting the most rewards for your effort. Make sure when you are Rebel Target hunting you are doing so during events that give you items you need or you are only using Commander Energy that you have obtained organically.
MSHQ Tip Three: Be Aware of the most efficient way to use your Energy during events
Just hitting the highest level Rebel Target may be the quickest way to finish your events but it is not necessarily the most efficient way. We often hear people asking what level Rebel Target they should hit during events to be most efficient with their Rebel Target energy. This makes sense, you want to use as little Rebel Target energy as possible to complete as many events as possible. Instead of waiting for someone to tell you what level Rebel Target to hit though we are going to teach you to figure it out for yourself.
— While some of the numbers and Rebel Targets have changed over time the concept of this remains the same.
MSHQ Tip Four: Know that not all Rebel Targets are created equal
Not all Rebel Targets are created equal. When we are looking at special Rebel Target events it is easy to decide where to spend our energy. However, with a run of the mill Rebel Target events where should we spend our energy. We are going to take a look at each of our Normal Rebel Targets and the energy cost to hit them. However, be aware that this is just a reference point and the cost will vary based on factors such as research.
|Level 1||Level 2||Level 3||Level 4||Level 5||Level 6|
From this table we can see a couple of things:
- I really need to do more Commander Research
- The Destroyer is the least expensive Rebel Target to hit until you reach level 5
- The Predator, Warden, and Rumbler Rebel Targets cost the same on each level and at level 5 and 6 are the least expensive to hit.
Using this knowledge you can use the formula above with your costs to calculate which Rebel Target is most efficient to hit during regular Kill Rebel Target Events.
MSHQ Tip Five: Take Advantage of Custom Commander Attack
This feature opens up at VIP 145. It allows you to choose the number of times you hit a Rebel Target. The advantage of this is when you are doing events such as Raid Boss or Rebel Target SvS or Nexus or Bunker Battles you can use the exact amount of energy you need to complete the event and save the rest of your energy for later events, stretching your energy as far as possible.
