The highly anticipated release of T8 Troops, Titans, and Traps has finally occurred. Let’s take a quick look at what awaits you on the battlefield.
A Quick Overview
The stats on the T8 Troops Titan and Traps adds a punch to your abilities to conquer and defend on the battlefield.
Each troop, Titan, and trap comes with 800 attack, 800 defense, 800 health, and 25 speed for each you recruit to join your army.
Building T8 troops
Each T8 troop/titan/trap recruited to your base needs materials from your storage warehouse. You will need to stock up on T6 stone, T6 iron, T6 food, T5 coin, and T5 oil. Each troop, titan, and the trap has a uniquely different requirement to join your Army. Take a look at what each one requires and what resources you need for each type.
T8 Biometric needs
8 stone, 20 oil, 72 food, 10 coins
T8 Pyronetic needs
2 stone, 80 oil, 72 food, 10 coins
T8 Hydronic needs
2 stone, 2 iron, 72 food, 100 coins
T8 Titans needs
20 stone, 8 oil, 90 food, 4 iron
T8 Traps needs
10 stone, 40 oil, 40 iron, 50 coins
Choose wisely when recruiting new troops, Titans, and building traps based on your available resources or stock up ahead of time by purchasing them in the gold store.
It is very important to remember to change your RSS production buildings to produce the needed resources to allow you to build your army to powerful numbers.
Your upkeep for troops is 0.01 T6 food each, so make sure you check you building productions to add T6 to your food storage. We would not want these new troops and Titans to go hungry. There is no upkeep required on T8 traps.
Finally, we have T8 troops, T8 titans, and T8 traps
What can they do with them?
How does each type work?
Biometric troops are very strong against cyber Titans and Hydronic troops, but very weak against traps and Pyronetic troops.
Pyronetic troops are very strong against cyber Titans and Biometric troops but weak against traps and Hydronic troops.
Hydronic troops are very strong against cyber Titans and Pyronetic troops but weak against traps and Biometric troops.
Titans are very strong against traps but weak against Biometric, Pyronetic, and Hydronic.
Traps are very strong against Biometric, Pyronetic, and Hydronic troops but weak against Titans.
So what does all of this mean?
It’s like rock, paper, scissors on troop types.
Biometric trumps Hydronic.
Hydronic trumps Pyronetic.
Pyronetic trumps Biometric.
This analogy continues on class types:
Traps Kill all 3 troops.
All 3 Troops kill Titans.
Titans kill traps.
Scout your enemies base or control point to discover what it is in their army.
Then use your superior knowledge to choose the correct offensive or defensive components of your Army to successively attack and defend your base.
Type attacks are successful if you know what you are attacking and send the correct Army against the correct type of enemy.
This strategy will come in very useful when conquering the control point.
T8 army will add great stats to your current forces. You will see more kills and loses on your battle reports.
The addition of T8 will require you to adjust the numbers in your current army levels. You will see the increased loss of your lower level tiers and you will need to increase the numbers on your higher tier levels to prevent your base from burning.
The new troops require T5 and T6 resources so they are more expensive to train and maintain.
They do require research to be completed to see all the potential stats on the battlefield. You will find this in both the combat research and combat defense in your research lab.
Good luck & happy burning everyone!
