When looking to go to combat in Mobile Strike, there are many things to organize and consider. A whole host of features are necessary for you to utilize when you decide to attack another base.

This article will offer a complete overview of Base versus Base Combat and everything to better prepare you.

Commander 2

Mobile Strike has four Commanders at your disposal. This article will be centered around Commander 2.

Commander 2 has recently been upgraded to Level 400. The boosts offered along with the instant deployment make this Commander the most imposing to lead your army.

For more information on Commanders, please see my article here: https://www.mobilestrikehq.com/misstypans-guide-on-commanders/

Skilling

When you have your Commander 2 skilled correctly, your skill tree will have deployment size and rally time reduction maxed. The next area of importance will be Base Assault and Troop Attack, Health, and Defense.

Another thing worth mentioning is when setting up your preset for the attack, you must have your Novice, Steadfast, and Mastery skills on point because every little bit helps.

Mechs

When going into battle you have to send your Mech to accompany your Commander and army depending on the troop type sent will determine which mech you assign. Your Mech must be fully healed whenever attacking. Sending weak or zeroed mechs only hinders your ability.

  • Chaos – Supports Artillery
  • Hydro – Support Tactical Troops
  • Inferno – Supports Infantry Troops
  • Terra – Supports Armored Vehicles

ApeX

The ApeX is the newest feature to aid in all combat battles, imparting far greater damage on your enemies! The ApeX supports and boosts your Regular troops.

Your ApeX behaves similar to your Mechs, it has an HP rating and that is listed separately in a battle report.

So far in testing this beast,  we have seen great things. He unleashes havoc on your enemies in all attack situations. When attacking bases they can take a hammering if you are up against a stout opponent so be sure to save the ApeX instant heals for when you need them the most.

So far with the purchase of packs, enough skill points are given to max each level reached, which is great!

Please see Cin’s recent article on the ApeX at: https://www.mobilestrikehq.com/meet-the-apex/

Research

Research is going to be the driving force behind the strength of your army. If you are in a position to have a good chunk of research complete, the better. Staying on top of your research can only benefit you. Having the latest and greatest is crucial to your success as an attacker.

If you find yourself losing more often than winning, the Research Facility is a good place to focus your attention.

Gear

The gear set offering the most amount of Base Assault at the moment will be your Ultimate Scorpion gears. We have also seen the drop of Type-Specific gears this week. I am looking forward to seeing some reports with a full level 6 gear set.

Some are still opting to use the previous generation, Garrison gear set. Below is a side-by-side comparison of both Garrison and Ultimate Scorpion gear sets.

Please note: Numbers listed in the Blog do not take into account the Stat Multiplier that came from the Manufacturing Research tree. In the chart below we will use the stat multiplier adjusted numbers, not repeating the Blog.

Mods

Depending on what you have available at your disposal in a full set Level 6 Mod Set, you could choose between the following sets for the best outcome.

The Elite mod set offers a boost for Base Assault whereas the Prime Aggression has a Type-Specific focus. Please note when equipping mods, to receive the ‘Mod Set Bonus” you need to have your gear to Legendary status (Level 6), and the entire set of mods at level 6 also.

Insignia

Wearing the latest insignia will aid you in warfare on the battlefield. There are 4 Insignia slots, plus a special 5th slot for you to equip. These boosts add up so don’t forget to be in your best for the mission ahead.

Set these up in a preset ready to go. This way when you are on the hunt you can switch fast!

Presets

As mentioned above, ensuring you have your presets all in order and set up for Mods, Insignia, Gear, and Deployment will never let you down. Being more organized will assist you in competing in the quickest time frame without warning in stealth mode.

Augments

Be sure to equip all 4 Augment slots on your weapon with the Augments that offer the greatest boost. You can mix and match to dial in your attack as there is no Set Bonus for these.

Go to your Armoury, then select ‘Augments’ to view which Augments are available to you and at what level. Here you can also see how many of each you have too!

As of today, there are 4 Augment sets to select from. Each set can dramatically impact the outcome of your battles. Choose wisely.

  • Cobalt Augment set
  • Deadwood Augment set
  • Red Eye Augment set
  • Wheellock Augment set

Arsenal

Bullets

Assigning bullets found in your Arsenal adds a punch! This boost is extremely effective in driving your troops to victory. Much like Insignias and Augments, there are many options on the table. Take your time to assign accurately as these boosts are highly beneficial.

It’s important as it is to utilize these bullets, I would argue it’s more important to turn them off, for example when hitting Cyborgs. These are a consumable boost and will continue to be used up. Don’t waste them!

Boosts

Deployment

Having your Deployment Boosts and Presets in order not only saves you time but means you’re ready to go at any given moment allowing you to attack with surgical precision.

Deployment Presets can be set up via your Training Grounds, then labeled accordingly. This will keep you organized nicely.

Assault Vehicles

Your Assault Vehicles can be found in your Assault Vehicle Hangar. The building itself does not offer any boost, however, the Vehicles found inside have the ability to drastically alter the score and assist in crushing your victims!

In a vast majority of base attacks, many Rally Leads opt to use the Dauntless and Black Widow. The Locust and Predator are both great options since their Rank 6 Vehicle has dropped. However these yield different boosts from the Dauntless and Black Widow. We have also seen a drop for a new Assault Vehicle, The T – Mech.

Below I have listed stats for these at Rank 6, Level 60, and current max Level for the T-Mech.

  • Dauntless:

Base Assault Attack – 244,600%

Base Assault Defense – 277,600%

Base Assault Health – 200,100%

Artillery Attack – 176,500%

Artillery Defense – 217,600%

Artillery Health – 118,200%

  • Black Widow:

Base Assault Troop Attack – 184,500%

Base Assault Defense – 225,000%

Base Assault Health – 115,500%

Artillery Attack – 123,700%

Artillery Defense – 160,000%

Artillery Health – 82,800%

  • Locust:

Tactical Attack – 312,000%

Armored Vehicle Attack – 312,000%

Infantry Attack – 312,000%

  • Predator:

Troop Attack Bonus – 241,500%

Armor Piercing – 234,900

Accuracy – 128,000%

  • T – Mech

Troop Attack Bonus – 810,000%

Synergy

Synergy is a temporary boost and when selected can assist in giving your troops the increase in Attack or Health depending on which you have selected. It is something you can’t live without. Mobile Strike claims It can increase the boost to your troops by up to 5 x over a non-synergy attack, which is game-changing.

These are available in packs, challenges, and the Black market.

Serum

A well-manufactured Serum can offer an extraordinary amount of boost for your pyromaniac needs.

Serums can be crafted and stored in your Biotec Lab. Dialing in on your inner Professor keeping several Serums on hand for any task is beneficial and time-saving. So much of this is about being organized and knowing where to find them fast.

Troops

Having a decent army trained and ready to go before any event or attack is ideal. We have Regular, Advanced, and Mercenary Troops available. Since the addition of the ApeX War Machine, be sure to train extra Regular troops because you will be needing them to join your ApeX. This has proven to be effective in testing.

Titans

In addition to your troops, there are a variety of Titans available. These are necessary for success. Adding 100 into your deployment is all that’s required to receive the benefit. But Titans do more than just increase the strength of your attack. They also increase the speed at which it travels.

In a rally scenario, you are going to want to use Elite Mech Slayers and Sentry. In a solo attack, you’ll be sending Elite Mech Enforcers and Mech Shields. While it is possible to include them in your deployment preset. It is not possible at this time to limit that to sending 100. For the time being, 0.01% is the lowest number you can select in your deployment preset which would send 2000 based on a deployment size of 20 million.

The Elite Mech Hunters and Vanguards are listed as rally defending, however in testing the Hunters have shown to improve the score. Vanguards are best left inside your base.

Counters

These days many players opt to load the base full of one specific Troop Type. This has proven to be a very effective way to defend, for now. In most cases with the current game, not even sending the correct counterattack makes any difference if the defender is set up correctly so I don’t want to ramble on too much about Counter Attacks in this article for that reason.  However, if you would like more information on Counters, you can read my article on Battle reports linked below under Reports.

Battlemarks

Battlemarking your target is a must! Your target can be marked by anyone in your alliance. The entire team benefits from that mark. The boost of the Rally Lead is based on that of their research level, regardless of who places the Battlemark.

Battlemarking your target also helps you locate them if they decide to skip town on you!

Being Organised

Before porting to a base to unleash hell, you must be prepared first. Porting in then applying boosts, presets, and all the rest of it only gives your opponent time to prepare for your attack. Spot your target and battlemark them. Make your rally team aware.  Then add your Serum, Synergy, Deployment boost, Bullets, Insignias, and be in your best gear and Commander for the attack. Once you are ready, advise your team what you’ll set with, then port to target, having them follow in after you to fill as quickly as possible. Allowing zero time for your target to respond or receive reinforcements.

Timing

Setting a rally and having it filled as fast as possible so you can deploy immediately is of the utmost importance. Every second counts and allows your opponent to apply boosts and receive reinforcements. The most proficient rally teams in the game have this down to a science. In Kill Events you can see the entire team’s port in, fill and fly in a matter of seconds. Because of this many targets get caught off-guard and get attacked before receiving reinforcements or even having time to shield. The well-oiled machine that is an elite rally team makes up the most formidable enemy in the game.

Reports

Don’t forget to read your reports and make adjustments as needed. Please see my article on report reading for more information on how to accurately read a report. https://www.mobilestrikehq.com/misstypans-ultimate-guide-to-battle-reports/

Conclusion

In conclusion, to be an effective attacker in Mobile Strike, you must maintain a high level of research, current gears, mods, and insignia. Without these basics, you will not be able to compete at the highest level. On the other hand, if you have all the top-tier trinkets but aren’t proficient in your organization and speed you may struggle to bring it all together. Practice makes perfect. Use downtime between events to test your limits and improve the efficiency of your rally team.

MissTypan

MissTypan

Hey everyone, my player's name is MissTypan. My Alliance is team, YEP* I'm in our line room so may already know many of you. I reside in Australia where I hang out in a beautiful beach town on the Sunshine Coast. I've been playing Mobile Strike competitively since the beginning of Cyber. I spend approximately 8 hours per day in-game so you could say I'm a hardcore player. My favorite part of the game is teaching inexperienced players how to be more confident. So many players put in the time and the money but don't have the knowledge of how to apply it correctly. By taking time to help them understand how the game works always makes me feel great.. And rallying. Definitely a rally addict and love to see the strategy in the game. If anyone is seeking guidance with game-related questions, please feel free to reach out anytime. It would be my pleasure to help you. With Respect, MissTypan.. (Ty)
