Are you ready to hit the battlefield? Earlier this month, we looked at the most frequently asked questions in the Mech Dimension for Mobile Strike.
However, we weren’t able to get through all of them. There are many little things you need to know to be successful in a game like Mobile Strike.
Understanding how the components work together is one of the most important things you can know to succeed. We’re creating a reference guide to help you understand what components are most important as you build your base. Keep reading to learn more about how to set up your Mobile Strike base.
A Quick Recap
In Part One of this series, we asked several questions to kick things off. These questions will help as you learn to pick the different components you need for your base.
Here are the questions we addressed in Part One:
- What should my stats be?
- What stats do I need?
- How do I specifically know what stats I need?
- What’s the best gear for defense, attack, or Control Point?
- What are the best Mods or Augments for defense, attack, or Control Point?
- What Assault Vehicles should I use?
This week, we’ll be addressing a few more questions. However, we’ll also be giving you some key questions you should be asking yourself as you build your setup.
If you missed Part One, make sure you take the time to go back and read it, it sets the foundation for Part Two.
What Serum Recipe Should I Use?
New Serums frequently get released in the Mech Dimension. However, when it comes down to it, what recipe should you use?
The process for manufacturing a Serum will ultimately depend on the individual player. The recipe I’m going to give you will be the last recipe you ever need.
For your Serum, you will have two primary components:
- Your Test Tube
- Your Ingredients
The Test Tubes and Ingredients you have will often be dependent on what you have been able to pull from crates. However, these instructions will guide you through the process of creating a Serum based on what you individually have.
Here are the steps:
- Review the Test Tubes you have: The test tube you choose will get based on the stats you want to enhance- Review Part One of this article to help you determine that
- Add ingredients to your Test Tube- The ingredients you add should match the stats on your Test Tube. This will best enhance your Serum and give you the best outcome.
- Manufacture- It’s really as simple as that.
How Should I Skill My Mech or War Machine or Commander?
When it comes to skilling, it’s all about your playstyle. In each of our articles about your Commander, War Machine, or Mech, we discuss what stats are key for different styles of play.
However, be sure to review part one of this article if you have further questions. You want to choose the stats that best enhance your gameplay style.
However, also keep in mind that as you go lower down your skill tree, the stats get higher. Essentially you want to skill from the bottom up. Start at those lower nodes to get the extra boost, and then work your way up.

How Much Does it Cost to Upgrade this Feature?
Over the years, we have collected costs for many features for your guys. However, we don’t always have the most up-to-date numbers. This is mainly because the game changes quickly, and the ability to gather numbers is dependent on you guys helping us.
One thing you will note with the costs we have gathered in the past, though, is that there are typical patterns in the costs of features. Pay attention to your current costs and the costs as you level up.
Is the cost looking similar to past costs? If so, it’s likely the costs fall into the typical pattern, and you can safely assume that you can translate the costs for previous levels to current levels with the new upgrade items.
As you’re building your base, there are some key questions to ask yourself as you work to determine what you need. Knowing these questions and why they’re important will help you make decisions about your base.
What Type of Player Am I?
Being able to define your playstyle is key. This will help you hone in on the stats that are the most important to you.
This is one of the most basic questions you can ask yourself. If you’re still working on defining your playstyle, be sure to check out this article.
Do I Need this Feature?
When you’re playing on a budget, understanding what you need and don’t need is essential. The fact of the matter is, if you’re a defender, you don’t need the latest Insignia with Control Point Stats.
When you are deciding whether or not you need a certain feature, there are a series of questions you can ask to help answer that.
- What stats does this feature give?
- Does it give the stats I need for my playstyle?
- Is there another feature I can get that gives a bigger increase in stats?
- How effective is this feature in this playstyle?
Asking and answering these questions will help you determine whether you need a feature. Remember, you don’t always have to buy new releases right away. By giving other people time to acquire and test them, you can see how beneficial they truly are.
What Troops Should I Build?
If you’re an Attacker or Control Point Player, the obvious answer to this question is the highest tier. However, at times the cost to build that tier is quite expensive.
When new tiers arrive, you want to be cautious with the cost. At that point in time, many defenders will not have new troops as quickly as attackers.
One thing you might want to consider is continuing to use the older tier until RSS amounts catch up with the current amount. Use your new troops wisely on targets you can’t burn or in Control Point for an extra edge.
When it comes to defenders, there is a common misconception that unless you have the highest tier, you will automatically burn. However, this isn’t true.
Many accounts with lower tiers of troops will hold up very well against the higher tier. At this point, it comes down to stats. You need to increase your stats enough that your lower-tier troops can get a boost.
While you will be able to run a lower troop count by using the highest tier, when it comes to cost, sometimes you need to depend on stats and wait to train the highest tier of troops.
Should I Upgrade This Feature?
This question is mainly for defenders. When it comes to attackers and Control Point players, you want to upgrade features that support your stats to the highest level.
However, if your goal is to trap, things will look a little different. You want attackers to believe you will be a good target. Therefore, take a moment to step outside of yourself.
Look at players and what you can see about their accounts. Does upgrading a feature make them less of a target? Or is it something that you can’t even tell has been upgraded?
Understanding visible versus hidden stats is important as you answer this question.
Visible stats are stats that you can tell a person has. For example, you can see Commander level or VIP.
Hidden stats are stats that you can’t tell a person has. For example, you can’t tell whether your opponent is running a Serum or what stats it’s given.
As a trap, your first goal should be to upgrade hidden stats and then cautiously move into visible stats if you need the numbers still.
It’s important to consider that you also don’t want to be too out of date. If your account looks too old, players may assume that it’s a dead account and simply ignore you.
As you head out to play Mobile Strike keep the components we’ve discussed in these guides in mind. They will guide you in building your account up for success so you can get the most out of your Mobile Strike play.
