Happy October and welcome to the Player SpotLight of the month. We love getting the opportunity to spotlight different players every month. The community is made special by the people that make it and each of you deserves your shout out for your part (please make the role you play a positive one)! In previous months we have had the amazing opportunity to get to know different players from Mobile Strike. Each player brings something unique to the game and their personality. This month we are looking forward to getting to know another long-time Mobile strike player. However, first, make sure you catch up on past players we have put in the SpotLight!

This Month we are going to go a little Wild and get to know xx Wild xx (I would ask for forgiveness for the cheesy pun but I am not sorry) from the Alliance CK. We are excited to get to know her and her history in Mobile Strike just a little better her story has been so fun to get to put together for all of you. Wild is an excellent player and from my conversations with her, I can see why she makes a great leader with her humility and the love she shows for her team.
Meet Wild
Wild is a lead player in the Cybernetic Dimension. She first started playing in February of 2016 and has been around since. From a farmer to a lead competing for Global Control Point she is a sight to behold. We were lucky enough to get the story behind her name.
I took Wild from Wildcat46 which was my original name from way back when. Why Wildcat? I graduated from Kansas State University and their mascot is a Wildcat. I am also terrible at coming up with names and Wildcat just stuck and everyone called me Wild, so I shortened it.
Wild’s Mobile Strike History as told by her
We love to hear the stories of different players in the game and it is even better when we get to read those stories in their own words. I love how Wild started playing Mobile Strike, I am sure she never thought that a conversation with a stranger would lead to a new hobby and new friends and family.
I started playing in an airport in Minneapolis after the guy next to me started showing me the game. I travel for my job and MS keeps me busy. Seba (114) is my home state. I started as a farmer in ASOS, moved to AMSE when I got bigger, became a rally leader for IOS and HI.
Spent a short time in LTS and the states opened up. Joined GE, which I loved, spent a month in DSE and then started CK where I’ve been since CK started. I’ve often thought about quitting lately with the amount of money spent and time this game entails, but it is CK and my R4s who keep me playing, I am a very, very lucky girl to have them on my team. 747 (Alim) is CK’s home state.
What is Wild’s Role in her Alliance?
We recently had the opportunity to talk about the roles people play in their alliances. From the leader to the Diplomat we all have a role and it was great to hear from Wild what her role is! We also loved the fact that sometimes she likes to just sit back and watch her fellow Alliance members get their chance to shine.
I wear many hats, I am R5 of CK. I am a rally lead and I am a CP Holder. I also love days where I can just fill and not worry about changing gear. Plus it’s nice to see all the rally leaders start fires.
Wild’s Best Memories
We love hearing player’s best memories and we hope that Wild does not get in trouble with telling us hers.. Especially if the “rules” are what we assume they are… The first rule of fight club is (if you do not understand that movie reference, Google it, my friend)?
In Seba we had Fight Club, where we would all go to a non-affiliated alliance and trial our bases out with maxed rallies. I loved Fight Club! I also loved it when Seba won our match and was able to eliminate a state. The friendships I had in Seba I cherish. I also enjoyed being in GE when Southboy won GCP, that was one of my first GCPs to actually participate in and enjoyed seeing how everyone worked together to make things happen.
What Gear can you find WIld in?
Gear Says a lot about the player. By looking at a player’s gear you can quickly tell whether they are a trap, a lead, a CP player, a wannabe (errmm…)… Moving on! The same lies true with Wild’s gear and reveals a lot about who she is as a player.
Mostly CP holding gear, Elite Havoc Launcher and Elite Dominator Stormstrike.
Wild’s Advice to Players
This is one of my favorite parts of doing player SpotLights. Another player’s perspective on the game is always great and the advice we get often says a lot about who they are and the things they value as a player. I love the advice that Wild has to give players! It’s real and rings true.
(1) Join an alliance with people you are comfortable with. They turn into trusted advisors and family.
(2) Ask questions, there are some brilliant people who play this game.
(3) Don’t read State Chat, that’s where haters are going hate on you, and if you are like me and have no haters in real life and tons in a game, it’s very hard on the heart.
(4) Play your own game. Don’t get into financial problems because you have to have new gear. Remember, it’s just a game.
(5) Be true to yourself, don’t send nudes or act fake to someone for packs. My biggest pet peeve are those who take advantage of others, and I see it all the time. If you can’t afford to play, maybe you shouldn’t be playing.
Things that Wild Loves and Hates on the game
Let’s face reality. We all have things we love and things we hate when it comes to the game. It is no different for Wild and I have to say, I am with her 100% of the way when it comes to things she hates on the game!
What does Wild Hate on the game?
This one word she offered us says it all with no explanation needed.
Drama
What does Wild love on Mobile Strike?
The things that Wild loves on Mobile Strike are the things that keep many of us logging in day after day. The community plays a huge part in our experience in Mobile Strike and it cannot be understated how much it impacts players’ gaming experience.
My friends, I have met on the game, my mega with TOP, my CK family, and my R4’s. I surround myself with good people who give great advice and who will protect me. My R4’s are the best you can have who will do anything for me. I am a very fortunate girl.
One thing that is exciting to Wild in-game right now
What are the things that keep us logging in day after day? What excites us? For me, it is the opportunity to spend time with my alliance and play with my stats. For Wild what excites her holds to the type of players she is.
Actually being able to hold a CP is getting to be exciting. Respect is a huge part of playing, and there are many great players who I respect and have developed friendships. I cherish and honor those friends.
Wild’s Thoughts on Cyber and Mech
Cyber or Mech? Some of us prefer spending our time in Cyber while others love the old school feel of Mech. While Wild is well known in Cyber she also enjoys some time in Mech as well.
I love Cyber, it’s just expensive. Mech is a whole different game and I haven’t figured out the Mech part of it. I have one base that has the mech open and one that doesn’t and I like the one that doesn’t better!
We hope that you enjoyed reading this SpotLight and getting a little Wild! Want to meet Wild and other players like her?
