Hello everyone! Hope that your 2020 year has started off great! What better way to end the month than with a player spotlight! We love getting the opportunity to spotlight different players every month. The community is made special by the people that make it and each of you deserves your shout out for your part (please make the role you play a positive one)!
In previous months we have had the amazing opportunity to get to know different players from Mobile Strike. As such, each player brings something unique to the game and their personality. Meet Mobzster

- Biggest Accomplishment: Mobzster let me know that winning the Global Control Point at the beginning of this month, Feb 2020, along with being runner up of a few previous ones, was his biggest accomplishment in Mobile Strike
Mobzster’s Mobile Strike Story
Mobzster says he saw an advertisement while on vacation. “I was not a gamer, but I just wanted to see what Mobile Strike was.” That was 4 years ago.
Though I can’t recall the state after the merge, I was in High alliance to start with. I grew out of power in a very basic alliance, and no one can fill my rally due to many factors. Then, I created a second base to rally bases. That was the time ripx called me in to be with them. Ever since, I have been on and off with bases, playing between trap and attack. I consulted with people on how to build from trap to attack base, and all ratios that helped. I did make a name for myself against major alliances in my state as Mobzster prior to the state merging and all the Cyber changes. At last I decided to stop for a few months to catch up with my busy life. Four months ago I came back and it didn’t take me long to be on top leaderboard of base building and being an aggressive player. I came 2nd, 3rd, and 4th prior to my recent winning GCP on Feb 2020. I am not a player that hits bases anymore. The game has taken away the fun of commander capturing. Now I only concentrate on how to take and hold GCP. Considering it is almost impossible to hold at max, I was still able to do it! The most crazy thing is I was on the second row at GCP and no one has ever won from the second row.
Cyber or Mech
We ask each player about how they feel about both dimensions. Do they play one or both? What are the pros and cons and how do you feel?
I am not a mech player. I guess I am an old school player who stays with what I like.
What Does Mobzster Wear?
You can look at a players gear and instantly tell what kind of player they are in game. So what gear will you find Mobzster in?
There are too many gears in game. Of course, I use mixed Devastator Defenders and two pieces Havoc for CP holding and full Devastator Ravager for CP attack.
Most Memorable Win
I think it would be this Feb GCP 2020. No one could hold against other maxed players, and we have had all players there about. Yet, I had been able to hold, using my understanding of base setup we came out first. It is a mind blowing victory because we can do what others can’t.
Mobzster’s Advice to Other Players
This is my favorite part of these spotlights because I love reading the different suggestions and points of view from all different players. Here is Mobzsters game wisdom to pass on to others:
There are many awesome players I have seen on Mobile Strike, and I have also learned many things from them to be where I am today. What have I learned that I can advise my fellow MS gamers? Spending is the way to win, but understanding your spending to strategize your base setup is the way to outrun others. Everyone who spends can max out their bases. However, what makes a difference is your learning of how these new releases are happening, how stats are contributed, and why. It will help to set up your base to counter players.
Reputation in Game?
.We asked for some players to let us know what Mobzster in known for in game. For example, what do they think of him as a player? Well, here is a response that seems to wrap it all up.
In the dictionary under persistent, you will find Mobster. A player who has tirelessly pushed the envelope, along with a slew of teammates, again and again. I, for one, am happy to not only know the man, but also to say I have had the pleasure of battling with him.
