In our previous article, we talked about how to build your stats as a Control Point Player. We looked closely at Attack, Health, and more and how to prioritize these stats and the role they play in Control Point. This week we want to take some time to really look at where to find the stats you will need as a Control Point Player. Knowing what the stats are is just as important as knowing where to find them.
A Quick Recap
Previously we took a look at what stats are important for Control Point Players and why. Understanding stats as a Control Point Player is essential as often it is a game of adjustments and knowing what stat you need to adjust based on hits against your opponent. When it is just a slight difference in reports the knowledge of whether you need more attack or health can be essential.
We have previously defined the stats that are available in-game, however, just for reference, we will include our Stat dictionary here again.

8 MSHQ Tips on Where to Find Stats as a Control Point Player
We are going to look at the various places you can find stats as a Control Point Player and discuss the pros and cons of those areas.
MSHQ Tip One: Research
Research is actually one of our top recommendations on where to find stats as any type of player. Research has a ton of stats that are helpful for various types of players. The great thing about research is it is a stat that is always with you. It’s not dependent on being activated or actually in place, with the only exception being battle mark research that requires that your target be battlemarked or research such as troop attack with a Commander.
The biggest Con to Research we will see for Control Point Players is that typically this research is at the bottom of the Research Tree and if the Research follows a normal progression you must get through all the other research before getting to Control Point Research. This makes this more costly research. However, with the amount of stats in research you cannot underplay its importance.
MSHQ Tip Two: The Development Center
The Development Center is another place to find some great stats. These can boost attack, health, debuffs, battle mark stats, and more. In addition, frequently we will see the items we need to complete these nodes in events.
MSHQ Tip Three: Buildings
When we talk about buildings for Control Point Players we can look at main buildings. We know that these buildings give different stats that are helpful such as increases to Deployment size. However, every Control Point Player knows that higher building levels are just something to work towards because it will benefit you overall.
The buildings we really want to look at are your “Special Buildings.” When we are talking about Buildings we are talking about your Master Supply Depot and your Assault Vehicle Hanger. Your Master Supply Depot is going to provide Control Point Rally Troop Attack Bonus, Troop Attack Bonus while occupying the Control Point, and a plethora of other stats. Your Assault Vehicle Hangar will provide some nice Control Point Rally Troop Attack Bonus, Troop Attack Bonus while occupying the Control Point, and Control Point Troop Health Bonus stats as well as other benefits that help your Assault Vehicles.
MSHQ Tips Four: Assault Vehicle and Mechs (oh my)
Assault Vehicles for Control Point Players are able to be sent in marches. At this time depending on the level of your building you can send up to 2 Assault Vehicles. Various Assault Vehicles have a variety of Control Point Stats. While many players are choosing to send Assault Vehicles in their marches they are not using them to defend the Control Point at this time so keep an eye on that.
Mechs also have the ability to provide extra stats. Leveling your mechs is going to help you as you compete against different players and your Control Point Defense and Attack will be stronger when you use the right mech. Our Mechs have continued to evolve as now we have the Reborn, Inferno, Hydro, and Terra all going to level 100.
With the Release of Synergy boosts that can provide Health benefits, we have seen players using those in Control Point successfully. However, not much difference has been noted when using the Attack Synergy Boosts in Control Point.
MSHQ Tips Five: Gear and Set Bonuses
Gear is another great place to get stats this also takes us back to research a little with getting additional stats on our gear from our Manufacturing Tree. We can also get additional stats on our gear using Enchantments and Set Gear Leveling. In addition, the Nuclear Forge gives us set bonuses for full sets of gear that apply even when we are not wearing the gear. All of these are great gear-related places to get stats. Do not forget that once you get your Master Supply Depot to level 35 once you have unlocked the set bonus you no longer need to keep the older gear in your inventory.
MSHQ Tips Six: Do not forget your Commander
Your Commander is going to give you stats as well. For Control Point Players, there is not a concern when it comes to power and so leveling up your Commanders is going to help get the extra edge on stats that you need. Commander 1 and Commander 3 are the Commanders you need to keep an eye on when it comes to Control Point. At various points depending on levels, you will find these two commanders helping with your Control Point game.
MSHQ Tips Seven: Steadfast Skills
Your Commander will also give you stats through Steadfast Skills. These stats apply whether or not that Commander is equipped. Recently Steadfast Skills have been leveled up and ensuring that you are updating your presets with new skilling is essential to ensure you are getting the best stats. Remember that even though you do not have to have that commander equipped for the stats to apply you do need to make sure that your commander is in the right skills preset before you switch coms.
MSHQ Tips Eight: Mods, Insignias, VIP, Serums
Mods, Insignias, and VIP are all other great places you can get stats for your account. Stats from these places can feel small but they all add up and can keep you burning your State to the ground. For more information on all of these features be sure to check out, Mech Control Point Quick Guide
